Genevieve Lilley, architect and lecturer at the University of Sydney, who worked with the renowned English architect, David Chipperfield for seven years before establishing her own architectural practice in London, has designed Venerari's first store in the Strand Arcade. The intimate purple felt interior with its 90+ ceiling lights resembling a starry sky, has all the hallmarks of the luxurious, modern stores Genevieve has worked on for her other clients, including Dolce & Gabbana, Phaidon Press, Joseph and Equipment in the UK, USA and Europe. For lovers of modern design, just visiting the store has become a "must do" whilst in Sydney.
