| Venerari wins Australian Jewellery Design Awards again
At a presentation party at the Art Gallery of NSW, hosted by Vogue, venerari was awarded first prize in 2 categories at the biennial Australian Jewellery Design Awards - Australia's most prestigious jewellery design awards.
Genevieve’s white gold opal and coloured gem pendant won the Opal Design Award. Monika’s yellow gold bangle won the Gold Design Award. Both pieces were handmade by Monika.
These wins give us a 100% success rate in these awards, as a pendant designed by Genevieve won the Opal Design Award in 2006. Both pieces are now on display and for sale in our Strand Arcade store.

| Venerari visits Hong Kong Gem & Jewellery Fair
Kingsley has just returned from Asia’s largest gem and jewellery fair in Hong Kong. He’s brought back a treasure trove of fabulous new gems for you to view in our store. Some of these will of course make their way into our in-store design collections and others will be available for you to select for a bespoke design piece which we would design and make specially for you. Amongst the very special gems is a 1.74ct pink-red cushion cut spinel. For those not familiar with spinel, this gem is the centrepiece in the Crown Jewels, and for many centuries was thought to be a ruby - which is infact a close gemmological cousin of the spinel. |

| Venerari launches new collection in Hong Kong
Venerari has teamed up with an international opal jewellery distributor, to launch a new collection of gold jewellery featuring Australian crystal opal. The “veritas” collection, designed by venerari, will be distributed worldwide. Veritas was launched at the Hong Kong Gem Fair and is now available in our Sydney store as well as selected outlets in the USA and UK. This new collection builds on the success of our previous collaboration on the “phoenix” collection of sterling silver opal jewellery which has been a global success since its release a year ago. Phoenix is of course also available in our Sydney store. |

October's Qantas Magazine profiled venerari as the centre-piece of its special jewellery and watch issue. Surely no better endorsement of our design driven ethos and special love of opal? With a monthly readership of more than 400,000 we suspect that the venerari secret is now out. So if you're planning a Christmas purchase this year, we'd suggest that you do so sooner rather than later!
